Magicians have done well in developing slate magic. They have surpassed in wizardry and trickery the wildest ex pectations of the mediums. The workmanship employed in the imnuf'acture of trick slates for magicians has been tops so that it becomes a pleasure in the presentation of the art.
The original intent or the author to present new ideas in slate magic has been persued. However in order to present these new ideas it has been necessary to air out the older ones.
Volume IV will have a chapter on •Fabulous Trick Slates' which will touch on the 5in1 slate, The Slate of Fate, The Sardina ~late, to round off the study on slates.
